This website is operated by Dressed By Clo. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Dressed By Clo. Dressed By Clo offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Legally Binding Contract
By placing a rental order with Dressed By Clo, you are entering a legally binding contract between yourself and Dressed By Clo. You agree that hire from Dressed By Clo is subject to all our website terms and conditions of use and privacy policy. By placing a rental order, you agree that you are renting products and ownership of the product remains with Dressed By Clo.

Rental Period
Rental Period refers to the agreed hire period, that you as the customer agree to at the time of booking.

For all garments, we offer a 4-day rental period. The rental period will begin on the day you select your item to arrive. For example, if you select a Friday for your delivery day, the garment will need to be returned by 4pm on the Monday, both the Friday and the Monday are included in the 4-day rental period.

The dress must be returned before 4pm on the last day of your rental agreement over the counter at an Australia Post Outlet. If the rental period ends on a weekend or a public holiday, it must be returned the following business day before 4pm.

Order Cancellation by Dressed By Clo
Dressed By Clo may cancel your order due to an unforeseen circumstance, which may include that the item you ordered is no longer available for hire. If an item is no longer for hire or becomes unavailable, you will be contacted about the cancellation via email.

If you place a last-minute hire, Dressed By Clo reserves the right to choose not to ship an order if it will not arrive in time to the customer. All last-minute hires that are cancelled due to not allowing sufficient time to arrive, will be entitled to a credit note only and not a refund.

Customer Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us via email. All orders that are cancelled at the customers request, will be entitled to a credit note only and not a refund.

All orders cancelled by the customer 7 days or more in advance of the hire start date will be issued a credit note equal to the amount paid for the booking, credit notes are valid for 12 months. 

All orders cancelled by the customer under 7 days of the hire start date, will incur a 20% cancelation fee. A credit note will be issued for the remaining amount, credit notes are valid for 12 months.

If you contact us via email after your rental has been dispatched, your rental period has started and we will not honour a cancellation of your order.

All last-minute hires that are booked for same day delivery (metro Melbourne) are final and we will not honour a cancellation of your order.

We take care of the dry-cleaning so there is no need for you to clean the rental item.  
You agree that under no circumstances will you attempt to clean the rental item. if you attempt to clean a garment and cause damage, or cause a stain to be permanent, Dressed By Clo reserves the right to charge a fee up to, but no more than 200% of the full RRP of the garment. This fee will be on top of any amount already paid for the rental.

We understand that usage of fake tan can cause stains on the hired garment, in the unforeseen circumstance that it causes permanent staining that can’t be removed by dry-cleaning, the damage policy will apply.

Damage and Late Fee Policy
When hiring through Dressed By Clo, you agree to treat our products as you would your own. You will treat our products with the upmost care and accept full responsibility of the garment during the rental period. You as the customer must notify Dressed By Clo if the garment is damaged upon arrival within 4 hours of receipt of any alleged damage. 

In the unfortunate circumstance, that the garment becomes damaged please notify us straight away. In the case the garment cannot be repaired, Dressed By Clo reserves the right to charge a fee up to, but no more than 200% of the full RRP of the garment. This fee will be on top of any amount already paid for the rental.

If an item is lost or not returned with 7 business days, it will be declared a non-return and you will be required to pay up to, but no more than 200% of the RRP of the garment. 

Unfortunately, if your rental item is returned back late, you will incur a late fee charge. This is why we highly recommend lodgement over the counter at Australia Post Outlet. The fee payable is $25.00 for each day the item is late.

If the customer wrongfully posted the return in a red, instead of a yellow Australia Post street box, in which causes a delay in the garment being returned to us, the customer will be charged a late fee. 

Clearance Sale
Items that are purchased to keep from our clearance sale (i.e. not hired) are final and cannot be returned for a refund or exchange. Clearance sale items cannot be purchased with a credit note or gift card, any orders placed using a credit note or gift card will be cancelled.

Clearance items will be shipped will be express shipped within 3 to 5-days of the order being placed.

At Dressed By Clo, we provide as much information as we possibly can regarding the fit of a rental item. We take no responsibility if you choose a size or item which does not fit or suit you. A store credit will not be provided for incorrect sizing. For sizing assistance, please get in touch!

If this is your first time booking a rental, you may be asked for a passport, driver’s license or other forms of identification to confirm your booking. Dressed By Clo reserves the right to cancel a booking if this information is not provided. No refund will be provided for failure to provide identification, only a store credit. 

Store Credit
Dressed By Clo store credits have a 36-month expiry from date of issue. Store credits cannot be used in conjunction with promotional codes or used to purchase clearance/ex hire garments. Store credits are non- transferable and cannot be resold. If your hire was booked with a store credit, you cannot receive a store credit or refund on that order. If you cancel your order booked with a store credit, your store credit will be forfeited. A store credit will not be issued for cancelled events or unworn hires. 

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

Products or Services
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Personal Information
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy. Occasionally we will use the email address provided from your order to send you email marketing. We do not pass on any of your detail including your email address to any other companies or corporations. You can opt out of email marketing by emailing info@dressedbyclo.com.au

Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
